The first aid action plan for mental health and how to implement it
Each year approximately 1 in 4 people in the UK will experience a mental health condition and at least 1 in 6 employees experience common mental health problems in the workplace. Research has shown that workis the biggest cause of stress which can stop people performing at their best.
This qualification gives you the knowledge to recognise a range of mental health conditions, start a supportive conversation and when and how to signpost a person to seek appropriate professional help.

What’s involved
When you register you will receive details of some distance learning materials and how to sign in for the live session. The live session runs from 9am – 4pm with a break – providing 6 hours of study .After the live session you will receive a 96 page e-manual with comprehensive guidance and an e- certificate following the assessment.
Assessment
The qualification is assessed through video conferencing software by professional discussion with the assessor and practical demonstration of the application of the first aid action plan for mental health. Participants must successfully pass both parts of the assessment to be awarded the qualification.
